included the projects P6856, P8053, and P9095 of the Austrian
Science Foundation (FWF).
In the recent years, involvement in e-learning activities
grew to a separate research topic.
Past and currently active
scientific cooperations, which have lead to publications in
international journals:
Based on then exisiting partnership contracts between the SIU at Carbondale on the one hand and the TU Graz and the Land Vorarlberg on the other hand, I became involved in 1991 in the organization of two international symposia. While the partnership contract between the TU Graz and the SIUC has come to an end several years ago, my involvement in both symposia remained.
Both meetings are held (more or less) bianually in the months of July or August at the Collegium Mehrerau in Bregenz (Austria). Questions of local nature should be directed to me (michael.ramek@tugraz.at), whereas inquiries about future meetings should be addressed to the scientific organizers (schuch@em.uni-frankfurt.de and holly.brown.borg@med.und.edu, respectively). Information about the Bregenz festival can be obtained from a separate web page.
